Common Area

Aspen Suite

This second-floor suite is one of our largest rooms, boasting an elegant, two-person free standing soaking tub, with a beautiful chandelier hanging above it. You'll sleep great on the queen canopy bed. The electric fireplace and daybed invite you to relax or work in comfort. The daybed converts to a twin bed to accommodate a third person. The room has a private bath with a shower. This room does have a desk for the hardest working of our guests.

Carriage House

By far our largest rentable space, the Carriage House will be your home away from home. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and bathroom has lovely walk-in shower! The beautiful Chippendale desk, likely from the 1700's, will be a perfect spot to work on a project. The house has a small kitchen and dining area and a spacious living space with a love seat, massage chair, and large 50” TV. You'll have great views of Golden from this second floor unit, and ample privacy being separate from the main building. This room includes the only private parking spot we currently offer. The Carriage House is periodically occupied by our resident pup, Mandy. If you have an allergy, we would encourage you to book another space. Thank you!

Castle Rock Studio

This extra-large suite is not only roomy but has its own full kitchen! You'll love preparing dinner in this spacious and stylish kitchen. This suite has a queen bed and a small couch that converts to a twin bed and a dining table. The private bath has an oversized shower. Castle Rock also has a semi-private outdoor space with seating.

Clear Creek Room

This small, quaint first-floor room is original to the home, overlooking the inn's front porch and garden. A desk provides a good work space. This room has a queen bed and the private bath features a shower. We love the original brick wall, from the 1800's! For those who are avoiding steep staircases, this is our only room located on the first floor. It's also near the front door, so you may hear other guests heading in and out.

Columbine Room

Part of the original home, this small but charming second-floor room has exposed brick from the mid 1800's! It has a lovely view overlooking 14th street. Columbine has a queen bed and a private bath. This room is best suited for solo travelers or people in an intimate relationship, as the shower faces the bedroom. This room does not have a desk.

Parisian Room

The original bay window in this second-floor room is perfect for cuddling up with a book in the afternoon, where you have a view of Golden's Northern foothills and the 100 plus year-old Colorado Spruce in the front yard. This room features 160 year-old exposed brick! The room has a grand queen bed and the private bath has a shower. The desk in this room provides a good work space.

Queen Anne Suite

A cloud-like king bed and large sitting area with electric fireplace make this second-floor suite feel spacious, yet cozy. The daybed converts to a twin bed to accommodate a third person. The private bath has an oversized shower. This room does not have a desk.

Red Rocks Room

A six-foot long antique claw foot tub/shower in the private bath is a distinctive feature of this second-floor room. Originally made in 1909, these tubs were used in bath houses and constructed in this size for the long and lean cowboys that would need a soak after a long, hard day. Original brick is exposed, adding to the charm of the Victorian room. The room has a queen bed. This is our quaintest room (that means smallest). This room does not have a desk. And of course - if you're looking to stay at a hotel near red rocks amphitheater for a show, we're just a short drive away!

The Serenity Suite features a dramatic cathedral ceiling, a luxurious king-sized bed that you will love to fall asleep in. The private bath has an elegant two-person free standing soaking tub. Shakespeare Room

A lodger's room built in 1928, the Shakespeare Room is a small, quaint room with an outdoor, first floor entrance. The room has a queen sized bed and the bathroom features a private bath with a free standing antique tub and shower combination. The room has a desk for our busiest of business travelers. Shakespeare also boasts our favorite view of Castle Rock from the front door and a small, semi-private outdoor space with seating.
