Our Policies
  1. Normal check-in is between 4 and 6 p.m. We can always accommodate later check-in, and can often (but not always) accommodate earlier check-in. Please discuss your needs when you make your reservation.

  2. Check-out is 11 a.m. We can provide a place to store your luggage after check-out if you need it.

  3. We welcome well-behaved, well-supervised children aged 10 and older.  Children under 18 may not under any circumstances be left at the inn without the supervision of an adult in their party.

  4. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the inn or on the front or side porches. A smoking area is provided on the front patio. Open flames of any kind (candles, for instance) are not permitted in the inn. 

  5. We cannot accept pets--our own pets object to other animals in their house.

  6. We have a five-day cancellation policy. If you cancel within five days of the first day of your reservation, or if you leave early, we will charge your credit card a $50 cancellation fee.

  7. Room rates do not include tax.

  8. We require a credit card to hold a reservation, even if you intend to pay by cash.

  9. We do not pay travel agent commissions.

  10. There will be a $5 service charge per card for using more than one credit card to pay for a room.
